As a client of BestFriends Veterinary Clinic, you can expect our full attention to your concerns and your pets’ needs. We enjoy our jobs, and we hope that is evident to everyone who walks through our door.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by one of our technicians, Julie, Angie, Maria, Rose or Kallie, who will usher you and your pet into an examination room.
The technician will start by gathering information for the doctor, asking about your pet’s medical history, the details about the reason for your visit, and your pet’s current symptoms.
Then Dr. Sell, Dr. Reid or Dr. Johnson will conduct a complete physical examination of your pet. They may have further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Many of the diagnostic tests can be run in-house, with results while you wait. Then the doctor will discuss the recommended treatment plan for your pet.
This is a great time to ask questions. We feel that client education is extremely important, and we want to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.
After the veterinarian has answered any remaining questions or concerns you may have, the veterinary technician will meet you in the exam room or at the front counter to wrap up your visit. They will make sure any medications or other products are in order for you, and schedule any follow-up appointments if needed.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there may be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
After your appointment, you may receive an email survey asking you to comment on your experience at BestFriends. We read every one of these surveys, and are always happy to hear feedback from our clients. You are the reason that our business exists!
We are excited to meet you and your human and animal family members!
